Alright, my outdoor-loving people, for those of you interested in outdoor films, rock climbing and mountain biking you need to check out these awesome outdoor recreation events happening in Leavenworth, WA this Spring.

If you haven’t been to Leavenworth before or if it’s been a long time, definitely add it to your travel list. It is a Bavarian-themed mountain town geared 100% for tourists and outdoor enthusiasts.

Let’s take a look at the outdoor recreation events coming up this Spring.

The Leavenworth Mountain Film Festival is for both outdoor and film enthusiasts. This fun event is 2 nights, Friday and Saturday, in downtown Leavenworth at the Festhall. Come enjoy the best recent short films focused on outdoor pursuits and the natural world.

For all you rock climbers and lovers of rock, this event is for you!

Bring your friends and come hang out and climb all weekend enjoying lots of fun activities, competitions, food and drinks, raffles, and the list goes on.

LEAVENWORTH ROCKFEST DETAILS AND TICKETS

Do you have what it takes to be the 2018 Pump Track World Champion? Red Bull will be hosting one of their Pump Track World Championship qualifiers here at the Leavenworth Pump Track this year.

Check out the video here:

If interested in participating, sign up to save your spot. Only 110 women and 110 men allowed at each qualifier.

Even if you don’t participate, this should be a really fun event to check out and watch.

PUMP TRACK WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP DETAILS AND REGISTRATION

Enjoy a fun crit style race where each participant has a chance to race their flat bar bike (mountain or fat bike tires only) on a 5 lap (.8 mile per lap) course at the Leavenworth Ski Hill.

Fun for all ages!

DIRT DIGGER CRIT DETAILS AND TICKETS

For all you mountain bikers, or friends of mountain bikers, this event is for you!

Participate in the races on the local mountain bike trails during the day and then enjoy the awards ceremony, live music, a beer garden, and food stands in the evening.

This event is a lot of fun! Even if you don’t participate in the races, meet up afterward and enjoy friends, music, food, and drinks.

Bavarian Bike and Brews Festivities in Leavenworth, WA

We brought our kids last year, and other families did too, but we weren’t allowed to go in the beer garden with the kids. We had a great time and will probably bring our kids again this year, but if you want to hang out in the beer garden, leave the kids at home for the night time festivities.

This event is for all the kids who like to bike and want to participate in a race, or at least show up to decorate their bike, hang out with friends, watch other kids race, receive some free swag and eat lunch. This is what my little kids did last year!

I guess they weren’t quite ready for competitive sports. Oh well, we will try again this year.

This event is fun for the whole family!
